Incomebrook exists because portfolio tracking went somewhere strange. To watch your own dividends, the popular apps now expect you to hand a third-party aggregator your brokerage login, tolerate sync failures, and pay a subscription every month for numbers that are, at heart, multiplication.
We think the trade should be simpler, so Incomebrook follows three rules:
- Your data stays yours. Holdings are stored in your browser (IndexedDB), not on our servers. We never ask for a brokerage login — there is nothing to leak, sell, or subpoena. Export everything as JSON whenever you like.
- Free means usable. The free tracker has unlimited holdings and no daily caps, and every calculator shows full results. No "unlock to see year 10" tricks.
- Pay once, if ever. Pro features cost one payment of $29 — not $29 this year, next year, and every year after. Software used to work this way; we think it still can.
How we make money
Transparently: content pages (like the calculators) may show ads, and power users can buy Pro once. That's the whole model. The tracker itself will never show ads, and we will never monetize your portfolio data — we don't have it.
